Europe Surgery are a cosmetic surgery client where patients travel abroad, to Poland, for plastic surgery. The client came to us in 2018 with the problem that they were lacking real digital presence. They didn’t have the strength of keyword rankings that they wanted, and this meant they weren’t getting enough leads. They wanted to rank for more keywords around types of plastic surgery ‘abroad’, as well as the more specific search of ‘Poland’ cosmetic surgery. The client also raised their concern that they wanted to grow their link profile as they were concerned this was very limited.
Our team carried out indepth keyword research to establish which angle was the best way of targeting both sets of keywords across the website. We carried out updated competitor research and performed SERP analysis to make sure we were targeting competitive keywords but also that they were realistic enough to achieve those positions and then maintain them.
We also pulled together a long term strategy to improve the client’s backlink profile and invested time to work on this on a regular basis to gain new, high quality backlinks from websites with a stronger domain authority than the client’s. This would coincide with the client’s keyword plan across their priority surgery pages and give them the boost they needed in the SERPs.See all of our projects
The results started coming in with some quick wins, and the combination of the on page optimisation and growth of the domain authority score saw a huge client success. Over a 5 month period, our client saw an uplift of 3,314 positions in keyword rankings.
Not only did we improve their keyword presence on page 1, but this then caused a real improvement for their long term conversions too. In only 1 month’s time period, the client saw their organic traffic and conversions more than double, compared to the last month. This has then continued to grow into 2020 and 2021.
